I have just a simple question: how did you set your camera so that you see a black and white live view (as your display live view settings must be set to "all settings off". Otherwise you would not see a bright preview with your settings ISO 100, 1/4000s). If I set my A7III to live view setting "all settings on" I would see a black a white preview when changing the creative mode to black and white ; but with those settings ISO 100, 1/4000s I - of course - see only a black screen. On the other hand switching my display live view settings to "all settings off" I do see a bright preview (but no black and white preview when changing the creative mode to black and white)
