Creating dynamic, dramatic portraits is not difficult - you can even do it just using the light on your iPhone! You can make beautiful portraits even if you only have a single light source. Your phone light can create a strong, hard light that's great for dramatic portraits.

When lighting your #Portraits, remember that everyone's face has a slightly different shape, and a #PortraitLighting setup that works for one person may not work for another.
Portrait lighting takes practice, but over time you'll develop your own favorite lighting techniques, which will take your photos from beginner to pro, Fast.

Awesome summary of the different lighting positions 👍🏼 I use “BLRS” as a memory aid for this: starting with Butterfly lighting with the light in front of- and above the face, then Loop, followed by Rembrandt, and finally Side lighting. Thanks for sharing your insights.
