Ever since I was 6 years old, I have been obsessed with 3D platformers. Upon playing Mario 64 for the first time, I was hooked. The 3D platformer genre has delivered some of the greatest hits of all time no doubt, but the genre has had it’s peaks and valleys in terms of popularity and more notably, in output of titles. We’ve seen a bit of a resurgence of late in the genre from both the AAA and particularly the indie space where we’re seeing some amazing games. You may be asking, what are some 3D platformers to look forward to in the coming months and years? Well, from games that hearken back to the days of yore, to games that push the genre forward, here are ten of my most anticipated 3D platformers. Ironic that they’re 3D platformers bust most of these have 2D protagonists. Still, I dig the style. Ruffy looks like a ton of fun and I’m keeping a very close eye on Clive n’ Wrench. It’s a great time to be a platforming fan!

Omno is an absolutely beautiful game, but I do have to say that for me it became very boring the longer you played. The puzzles, if you could even call them that, were very simple and took little to no effort to solve. The only thing that kept me playing were the environments and how incredibly beautiful they were.

No it’s all low budget game I need 3D platforms with high budget graphics
