No knock against any of these bikes, I'd love to try most of them. That said, I've spent 2022 on a steel Jones LWB+ and I'm ecstatic with it.

Same. I love climbing, with all the bikes. I wish you and your team happy holidays. May 2023 bring a lot of awesome adventures and as little mechanicals as one can ask for. May your Tires be plush and your luggage secure.

Just wanted to say I built a Tumbleweed stargazer based on yours and others recommendations. What an awesome ride. Just took it down some gnarly singletrack and I was getting an ovation by the guys with their full suspension at the bottom of the trail, that bike is FIERCE

I love how they just now cover cotic bikes. They’re a huge brand and have been making bikes similarly to the solaris max for decades

Just ordered a Surly Bridge Club frameset which will arrive… around May next year. Talk about building anticipation. Still, gives me time to collect all the lovely bits I’m going to hang off it.

Just have to throw a bone to Poseidon. My Redwood is pretty similar to the Grappler at a much lower price point. It makes sacrifices for the price, to be sure, but it’s a great starting point for those who can’t quite splurge for the more spendy builds.
Love the video and the channel! I eagerly await every new episode.

The Grappler is the most interesting to me on the list. Been seriously eyeballing that one for a hot minute. The Stargazer is my dream bike but it’s just so far outside my price point and the Grappler ticks nearly all the boxes the Stargazer does at nearly half the price. I really need to just pull the trigger on it.

Chumba Stella Ti, hardtail, light, tracks straight, easy long miles, and comfy ride.

Great content as always! I'd love to see your take on the Mason InSearchOf. The couple reviews around the internet all seem very positive, and it's the frontrunner in my search for a new build

It ain’t no list without the Salsa Cutthroat, especially the newer 2022 version with more fork compliance.

I am surprised Kona did not make any of these lists.

Would like to see a review on a pinion geared/carbon belt gravel bike. Like Viral's gravel bike out of Bend, Or.

I had a woodchipper 2 dropbar setup on my Surly Pugsley...I miss that bike. The 2020 fires decided to eat it. :/ As an older rider, I'd love your input on bakfiet, trikes and quads for adventure travel/bikepacking. I'm not as nimble and confident as I used to be and these seem like friendlier options for longer rides and maybe even an rv/trailer setup. There's a cyclonomad in France that I enjoy watching with this kind of setup.

my plan last year was to get a karate monkey unless something weirder came out - immediately put down a deposit on and had a full grappler build in my head, then decided the km was actually more what i wanted anyway and swapped my order to that - no regrets there at all, but i really like the grappler. wish i could ride one for a few weeks to get a feel for it

Amazing bikes and thank you for all the reviews. Would me lovely to read a review about the Ritchey Ascent for this 2023 as it seems like a very similar bike to this new ATB and drop bar MTB trend but some particular features and it is a Ritchey. Thanks for your incredible work
