There's nothing wrong with selling a cheap drone. There are different price points for different levels of interest. However, advertising a cheap drone as a pro-sumer level drone is false advertisement. Using video footage of more advanced drones in the ad is very dishonest. The Sky Quad should be advertised for what it is as a very low end beginner drone.

I figured out how to flag the ad. You have to select the settings(the gear symbol) on the top right corner and select report. Then select misleading the last option. Would help out if more people flaged it.

I saw that ad and though my drone experience has just been limited to inexpensive units over the years as an activity to do with my sons, this looked way too good to be true. Glad someone with your obvious expertise in drones took the time to warn people about this, THANK YOU!!!

I saw the ad and immediately noticed the mavic design and the mavic 2 assembly line footage. Started looking around for someone smarter than me to call their bluff. Great informative video. Thank you for making this. Hopefully itll keep newbies from buying this thinking any part of this ad was true.

What is also dishonest is the different versions. Depending on where you live, it will say the company is a New Zealand company and the Hiker is from Wellington. Your version says the hiker is from Michigan etc. Of course, we don't use US dollars or have "ex-navy seals" starting companies so the video didn't match the computer-generated narration.

Thanks for the heads up. I knew by their video advertisement that it wasn't all they say it was, but I figured it might be an okay drone. Now I see just how junk it is. Especially the bit about the gimbal they claim it has. That's just lame.

Oh my word!

Im from South Africa.

I just saw the SAME AD, SAME FOOTAGE...but the narration was paraphrased with South African terminology. The US city mentioned here, or state (can't recall), was substituted with "Cape Town". "Dollars" was substituted with "Rand" etc.

I almost fell for it, but decided to explore a little further.

Got suspicious when it showed infra red night vision detection pics in the video but didn’t mention it in the specs. Then Norton flagged their website as “unsafe”. Googled “reviews” and found this site. Watched the YouTube clip here and what do you know, the exact same John and his girlfriend from Michigan, is John and his girlfriend from Wellington, New Zealand in their pop up ad targeted at NZ. They also claim it’s made in NZ as opposed to USA and it was a smart Kiwi who ripped up the patent and started making them cheaper. Thanks for your review, I nearly got caught.
