Sheena, also known as Sheena: Queen of the Jungle, is a 1984 fantasy-adventure film based on a comic-book character that first appeared in the late 1930s, Sheena, Queen of the Jungle.A hybrid of action-adventure and soap opera–style drama, Sheena was shot on location in Kenya. It tells the tale of a female version of Tarzan who was raised in the fictional African country of Tigora by the fictional Zambouli tribe.

The film starred Tanya Roberts, Ted Wass, and Trevor Thomas. It was directed by John Guillermin and written by Lorenzo Semple Jr., who had previously collaborated on the 1976 remake of King Kong. Released by Columbia Pictures on 17 August 1984, Sheena bombed in theaters and was nominated for five Golden Raspberry Awards including Worst Picture, Worst Actress (Tanya Roberts), Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Musical Score, but it did find some cult success on home video and DVD. Since then, it has been considered a cult film.

Sometimes words are not enough to express feelings! When I was watching this movie about 25 years ago, I felt my soul tremble in this scene. Sheena is now in a separate world and all that remains is these immortal scenes. Sometimes I feel that life is so fragile and short.
Tanya is like a beautiful story that ended early. These eyes can never be forgotten...

My favourite scene, in the whole of the movie. Soooo incredibly romantic- especially not knowing if they'll ever see another sunset so and this passionate first kiss Vic Casey gives Sheena is a beauty!Love it🥰. She's never known anything than her lip's being used other than for food and Vic Casey's her first love. I'd have loved to have seen a sequel, like does he ever return to see Sheena his Queen, did they make a baby for Sheena to have a ruler once she passes on.
