I had a neighbour who was a very nice but extremely quiet and guarded lady. One morning, I noticed she was weeding my yard. I went to speak with her and thanked her but she didn't need to do it. She said, "I eat the dandelion greens". She asked if I used any pesticide and I said no. I found out later from her daughter that she was a holocaust survivor and how much she had suffered. My heart ached. Her daughter said, they used to make wine or drinks from the dandelion flowers. It is amazing how humans can adapt to a very cruel life. Clara's video reminded me of the beautiful soul, I had the blessing of knowing.

What a beautiful woman. At first I felt sad when I read that she'd passed but she looks like she lived a full life. Not everybody can say that. God bless her soul

“we ate a lot of dandelions, they’re cheap, you can get em for nothing” this is the most wholesome content you can find on this website

"Sometimes the Lord thinks of you...he drops food from Heaven" said Clara with the most heartwarming smile and grateful heart I've seen thus far.
Can't believe I just found this hidden treasure. RIP Clara.

You also can make dandelion "honey" from the flowers – actually syrup, not real honey, but surprisingly close to honey and actually really good.

To everyone feeling sad about her passing away, lets just be glad she doesnt have to experience all this crap we are facing right now. Imagine living through the Great Depression then potentially having to go through a similar situation in your twilight years

From the great depression to her own you tube channel.
What a sea of change witnessed in one life time.

If anyone else told me to eat dandelions, I’d look at them like they’re crazy. If Clara says dandelions are good, I say please tell me more.

If ckara knew where we were headed now, She might realize how useful her time and efforts were to us all. More so now than ever.
