The Block style for the Pilot is good. The new Pilot looks like a van and does not sit up as high. This dude is trying to sell the new model by trashing the old model i think.

Just bought a brand new '15.  Ya, it is a little squared off, and "Dated, " looking.  It will hold 8 passengers, has allot of power, tours our boat, and camping trailer.  It is also Extremely Comfortable, and quiet!  I get 26 hwy, transports my drums perfectly, but Most importantly for my wife, and I want it to start, and get us where were going at 3am, when we're out in the middle of no where.  This is our 5th Honda.  My wife drives a CRV.  I love the 300, 000 miles I've gotten out of each of them.  I don't give a crap about the key fob, pushing a button to start the thing, or cool lights.  One of The best cars Ever made was the Jeep Cherokee, with the bulletproof 4.0 six engine.  It was plain, boxlike, but in the snow, there was nothing like it, and was also a 300, 000 mile car.  My brother, cousin, and 2 friends bought Jeep Cherokee's, with the 9 speed trans.  Sleek, all kinds of cool crap.  Too bad they don't shift.

I have one of these and I find it to be a good value.  It's no BMW or Mercedes, but it doesn't cost like one.  Plenty of room, power and the electronics package is nice.  Does everything I need, at a portion of the MBW or MB

The Pilot is for folks who want a truck, not the luxury market like Acura, which Honda sells as well. By the way as a Pilot second generation owner they are quiet, powerful, ride good, and spacious! That to me is luxury! Did I mention it is built like a tank, so it is very safe! Also luxury! And I have an LX! Everything does not have to be the same.

Most dealerships are now offering clearance prices on Pilots.  You can get one for dirt cheap now, if you negotiate right.

This isn't 200+ inches long and adults can fit in the 3rd row.  The 2nd row moves fore and aft.
