#LilHerc 2.0 is that it now has 5" more reach on the extension and actually retracts in 1" more than the previous 1.0 models. Another reason why DWS is the go-to place for superior craftsmanship and quality! The new LH 2.0 features a bigger Lift cylinder that is fully capable of lifting diesel trucks from the front without a sweat. The Lift Cylinder went from a 4" to a 5". This is the biggest cylinder offered on this type of application. The tubes are now all 3/8 plus steel 3/16 wear pads make it over 1/2” thick!! These are clearly the strongest tubes in the WORLD!!.
The In/Out Cylinder grew bigger as well.
Oil seals and bronze oil-lite bushings should guarantee its owner a lifetime of service if simply maintained properly. We offer a lifetime warranty on pins & bushings.
The adjustable pivot points that can be serviced or replaced easily is unlike any other unit. We are truly the only manufacturer that offers such a superior pin system that allows the end-user to simply tighten its self. As opposed to purchasing parts to maintain its operation.

#LilHerc will work circles around any wrecker body or competitors unit that is similar to ours by far, in regards to duty cycle, lift capacity (10,000lb Tow Capacity, 5,000 Lift Capacity). LH 2.0 now has a 5” bore Lift cylinder. Which is currently the biggest 'Lift" cylinder in the world for a light-duty application. Naturally, we made out tubes thicker to accommodate & they are over 1/2" thick!! Making them the thickest tubes in the world!
All wreckers have plastic wear pads for the sole purpose of replacing them. There is no structural purpose for lifting/towing a car/truck. Our units have none of which!
That's a big difference in price and not having to deal with the downtime or replace the costs of pivot pins or plastic wear pads is a game changer! Plus the fact your driving in a comfortable truck, not a rough-riding wrecker. Essentially killing 2 birds w/ one stone making the truck a versatile money-making machine!
That means it’s stronger than any wrecker out there (as far as simple tows, we have a bigger "Lift Cylinder & thicker Tubes thus making us stronger for simple tows), that’s mounted on a 450-550 chassis. Obviously excluding med-duty wreckers that are mounted on F650 of similar chassis.
But that’s my point! We are the first to over-build the application to this degree. Unlike anyone, anything or anywhere else. We have thicker tubes, bigger cylinders, a superior pin system, no wear pads. You can’t afford not to have one of our units. They are stronger and have proven to last longer than any other.
