I listened to this song for many years before I realized there was a musical influence in it I never noticed. The punk rock and the ska are obvious, and the organ solo that sounds like a tribute to the Doors' "Light My Fire" is quite apparent. But the Indian raga influence on the guitar didn't occur to me until much later. Play this right after listening to Led Zeppelin's "Black Mountain Side, " and you'll probably hear it (at 1:00 and then again at 2:30).
