I love this clip because Matt is going beyond his range that he can comfortably sing these days, but still pushes through. It's a very hard place to sing in, with the type of voice that Matt sings in. But he fights to pull that part off in live performances because of the fans, and of course, because of Jimmy.

The amount of fucking PASSION the REV put into me back in the day (when I was a kid). Before listening to A7X, music was literally just music to me. I'm not sure what got me to do it, but I would catch myself air-drumming to his beats. I started to study the REV like an IDOL to me as a kid. When he passed that was the first realization that I was actually living life and i should take it for granted. I cant listen to "so far away" without balling my eyes out screaming at the top of my lungs in honor of THE REV.
