Wow just learned this today....i thought it was his father that had the problem and the reason why he was killed was because Michael was tired of paying of his fathers depts.
But this doesn't mean shit against his too many accomplishments to mention, and how he changed the game and the NBA forever....FACTS!!!!

This just prooves that life is all about balance...he was the GOAT and for all his greatness there has to be balance...Ying/Yang, he could of spent all that money on cocaine/woman

I don’t think so. I believe that most people, and the media would believe he had a problem only because of the fact that it was money played that is way beyond the majority of what most regular players used to seeing gambled. That doesn’t mean that his gambling was irresponsible. If anyone who gambled often could afford to maintain their own, then they are considered a matured gambler. Jordan will always be able to pay any of his losses no matter what if he gambled on the weekly. Due to his Legendary status, The man literally makes thousands everyday for just breathing !Owing someone money doesn’t mean you have a problem with gambling in Jordan’s case. It only meant that he didn’t have a duffel bag with $15K, $30K, $60K or $100k etc ready to go on the spot. Everyone knows really well that Jordan was good for any bets that he challenged, and therefore his bets were always well respected weather he had the cash on him or not. For example, I could always make fun bets with friends of $5, $10, $15 or $20 over sports matches etc because we would make $1500 per check. Michael Jordan makes Millions per month ! So his regular steaks in a bet are naturally ridiculously high in comparison to the average person who gambles ! Basically, a $20 dollar bet for us is what a $50K+ bet for Jordan feels like on a regular bet.
