Its like any job. You go home and don't have the time nor need to talk to your colleagues. They probably didn't even live any where near close to each other which makes it a whole lot more plausible.

To be honest, it probably helped them succeed. They didn’t feel the need to fake a lot of pleasantries. Trying to engage each other probably would’ve just led to conflict.

I believe that. I’ve had countless coworkers over the years whom I never had a conversation with out of work. And at work it 90% job related stuff. And with that there was zero drama.
