Its past 1 am here where I live, and I woke up questioning my existence. Almost got me emotional. I open YouTube and this video appeared. I'm only a minute in but thank you for being here, in life.

Life is boring without uncertainty.
As an istj, i hate uncertainty so much.
and i was often wondering why am i so afraid of uncertainty.
And i found out that is because i am so afraid of being in negative situations. worried to be the one teased by others, scare of being the one who causes trouble to others.
and all of these are the signs of inconfident.
if u have the courage to be get hurt, you wont be afraid of uncertainty anymore. This is what i have learnt.
i do often remind myself that, as an imperfect human, i am tend to make a lot mistakes.
however, i wont make the same mistake for second time in my life.
and this spirit encourages me to deal with many challenges in my current life.

Thank you, Sena, for this inspiring video. It’s always a pleasure to listen to you and watch the beautiful images. I do think that some people know what they are doing, those people who have found the meaning of their lives.

I've noticed that you are wearing your necklace even over an office shirt, there must be a very special meaning to it!

Living outrageously is scary but, it's the only way we can be ourselves.
Following the herd mentality of any culture, or group, stifles creativity & progress. I adore individualism...without it our species will not evolve or create new & better ways to live. And do it without destroying life on our planet.
Congratulations on doing your best to live authentically & happily!!
Honoring ourselves may be the most courageous act humans do!!

In terms of why you were born in Japan: Most likely you chose this experience to be a Japanese and live abroad and develop your unique views of life and living, and later to return to Japan, so as to be an inspiration to other Japanese to think about new ways of living. Being Japanese helps your credibility with other Japanese. I lived in Japan for 5 years. I really like the culture and the Japanese people, however, I would voice the same concerns you share in this video. My opinion would not have a high value in Japan because I am a foreigner. Your opinion gives them an opportunity to not immediately dismiss it as "foreigner contamination" or the like.

I'm going through something similar Sena. I recently graduated from university in Japan and I'm feeling uncertain about the job prospects for me here. I have a part time job that is looking to hire me full-time, but it's incredibly stressful for me and I don't know how much longer I can last there.

Sena, you are tall, handsome, smart, sensitive and already have a new job and have a loving girlfriend. What is your problem? You have more than 80% of people in the world, so get out of your way. Sometimes too much introspection is not healthy. Why not write a book about a character that is not yourself but frame him from your perspective as a modern Japanese male? I think that you are pushing boundaries as a modern Japanese man finding your new way in a traditional repressive society, of course this does create stress. But don't turn it inwards or you will never succeed. You are documenting a shift in the Japanese paradigm from a non traditional male point of view. A new animal with a self imposed heavy responsibility. This is too bad. Just get out of your way. If you have mental issues, enough to be this concerned then just go see a psychologist who is a trained professional in anxiety. Otherwise be brave and set the standard and don't listen to "the nail that sticks up" crap. As a western women, I lived in Japan for 10 years and dated a few modern Japanese men like yourself. They always had challenges as well. You are just ahead of your time, and living in that time that you have created, that is all. Most Japanese aren't even aware of the changes because they fear change or they just don't care. I bet that when you move to a western country you will relax and just live your life in comfort. Let Japan mature without you. Sometimes leaving is the answer.
