The towboat captains are some of the most competent folks on the water, the first stuff was the deepest stuff I personally ever saw and it seemed like he wasn't coming back up, then it happened again, not as bad the 2nd time but it seemed like it took on so much water his bilge pumps must've been been on overdrive. Haulover is a difficult body of water at all times and can cause problems for even experienced captains and inexperienced weekend warriors would be in serious trouble.

Commercial RIBs are really cool.. ran fast rescue RIBs with diesel jet drives offshore in the gulf of Mexico.. our self bailing deck drains where 2" on each side with duck lip scuppers... lol they drain FAST!
