You're literally one of the only reasons I ever know about new books coming out so thank you for these! Since you're big into "Whacky Mystery" I feel like you'd really love Hit & Mrs. by Lesley Crewe (who is a Canadian author!) It's not new by any means (it came out in 2009) but all these years later, it's still one of my favourite whacky, comedy-of-errors-style books I've ever read!

I remember Riley Sager saying in an interview on his mini book tour this past summer that he got inspired to write a book.. and decided he was going to go out of his comfort zone and write a male protagonist/POV... which was long over-due. So I'm glad he didn't chicken out and finished it.

The Stuart Turton book reminds me of Black Lake Manor by Guy Morpuss - murder in a locked room environment, but the investigator keeps losing her memory as someone turns back time when she starts getting too close. Stunning UK cover too!

I read middlegame this year and loved it and planned on reading seasonal fears next year. Going to recommend it to the library immediately.

I'd be down for a Bunny prequel if it's about the Bunnies, and not Samantha. I feel like I'm usually less interested in the backstory about main characters, and more curious about the backstories of other characters who shaped the main character's experiences.

Really interested in the new Rowell book! I loved her YA writing and this adult novel is right up my alley! I read Ooona out of Order because of you and LOVED it. Maybe my favorite book this year....? It was so good. I want you to read the other by the same author and let us know if its good!!

Mirrored Heavens by Rebecca Roanhorse is coming out in 2024, it was supposed to come out this year, but got pushed back. It's the third book in Between the Earth and Sky series, so if you enjoyed Black Sun and Fevered Star, be ready for the final book. 😊💕💕💕
