What about the question?: What does he look like?
What about the question?: What does he look like?

And if you want to know about his physical appearance, if he’s tall or short, fat or skinny, with a head full of dense, luxurious blond hair or bald as a billiard ball, you ask:
“What does he look like?”

What is the difference between " what is he like?" and " how is he"? ?
What is the difference between "what is Italy like?" and " how is Italy?"?
What is the difference between " what is dinner like?" and " how is dinner?''?
Thank you.

So what on earth is the difference between"What's he like?" and "What does he look like?". As what's~like can also be used for describing both a person's character and his appearance here. Does the second one emphasizes appearance more? Thank you for your explanation:)

Can we use what kind of person is he? Instead of what is he like?

so when we ask "What's he like?", can we answer ONLY about the appearance or we must include the personality too ?

I still don't understand when does exactly we use "does" and "is". Just like my question here... should I use when does exactly... or when is exactly...

Or in other sentences like:
Is it hurt ? OR does it hurt?
What is the main difference between them? OR what does the main diference between them?
An so on...

So.. how can I use "does" and "is" correctly? Thank you
