I think I’m going to order this for my 60th birthday! I love the color and bottle also. Thanks for the review. I’m putting together a pen and paper experience for this milestone. Unfortunately, the shipping is more than the ink! I wish they’d given you a discount code for your viewers. On the bright side, blue is my favorite color. My son just joined the Air Force and has asked for regular letters, so I’m going to need stationary and envelopes. I wish they had an American distributor.

Great review. Such a nice, soft blue. I bought myself a bottle (plus a bottle of Akkerman Oranje Boven) as a Hanukkah gift recently, and have been enjoying it in a Sailor medium fine nib. Now I think I’ll have to try it in something broader. Keep up the great work!

I bought my bottle in the same order as two bottles of SBREBROWN on the first day of the latest re-release, back in October. It's a beautiful ink; but it does seem drier than I'm used to. I'm not a fan of blue ink on the whole, but the softer colour and the shading does appeal to me. And the box and bottle are cute :)

I saw that you turned the nib over to show "fine". Do people do that to be cost effective? Is it recommend ?
