Tech Tip - Adding Draft to Wrap Feature

Due to the complexity of the emboss wrap feature, using traditional methods to apply draft does not always produce favorable outcomes. In this tip we explore a surfacing trick that will give you the geometry you need in 5 simple steps!

For anyone doing this method for *TEXT ITEMS*: MAKE SURE TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR INNER LOOPS FIRST. For example, 6, 9, 0, & occasionally 4 will have internal closed loops. These loops won't show up when you attempt a scribe! Scribes will not work for multiple surfaces. Here's my method:
1) Perform a wrap scribe with ONLY the offset inner loops in the sketch. Or, whatever happens to be the very 1st inner shape.
2) Create standard text embossment or embossment with 2 inner loops.
3) Create scribe with outer offsets or outer loops.
Then, simply continue with the instructions here! I had a very hard time figuring this out on my own, but I'm thankful I finally found a way for it to work!!
