This is the console port, dude. The shader settings are probably on the C1 equivalent to medium or high.

Suck it up and wait for the PC version before you make judgement like that.

I'm sure everyone is going to give me crap about how there's so many different weapons, modes, maps, etc. about this game but I'm sitting here watching this gameplay and thinking to myself, "And this is different from Call of Duty because...." Actually it makes perfect sense. There is no difference. It's just a way to get consumers to keep buying the same game over and over. Good business really. And then every once in a while the technology improves and there's a graphics upgrade too.

@cheeseonscungyfudge Consoles are certainly not shit... Thats just your personal opinion. The Xbox 360 used to be more powerful than ANY home PC back when it was launched with it's 3.2ghz triple-core, multi-threaded CPU and superior ATI GPU with unified shaders. The best available CPU's for the PC were the Athlon 64 X2 and the dreaded Pentium D (both only dual core)... And PC GPU's still used seperate pixel pipelines and vertex shaders instead of the more advanced and efficient unified shaders.

@R3leaZ By more players, I mean like everyone in my school owns an xbox. I just rather have the standard requirements of a console than have to worry about system requirements. I've made that mistake before. As for the TV's, serious question, can you play on those new, 3D tvs yet? You've made some good counter points, although I got you on the resale thing ;). The Demo put me off buying the game, perhaps that is why it's Xbox exclusive. Terrible hit detection, Crap spawns, that spawn you right in front of any enemy, the 30fps shows in a fast paces game like this, you mostly die to some scrub running around in cloak one hit killing you, and by the time you press down on the d-Pad to see them you dead.
This game will be a let down like medal of honour, sorry Crytek love time splitters, but not this.

@Zetzoh pleaz dont mention exclusive games cuz thats like me saying Halo, forza 3, gears of war cant be done on the ps3. the evidence is on the multiplatform games and obviously the 360 is the victor. but your ignorance is acceptable cuz since the ps3 on paper is more powerful but in performance is clearly not. this my analogy of the ps3. the ps3 is like having a bugatti veyron motor but with ford escort mufflers it has the power but will never be able to squeeze it out.

Ps3 hasn't shown nothing the xbox cant do so far. on the contrary 360 over the years have out done the ps3 in almost all multiplatform games. and pleaz dont mention exclusive games cuz thats like me saying Halo cant be done on the Ps3. but look at recent games that have gone to the ps3 like mass effect 2 and like always the ps3 framerate never as smooth as the 360, screen tearing galore, washed out colors and you claim ps3the more powerful?

@yoimosan Ok if you have a Pc look on it. What do you see? Is it a Microsoft windows sticker or something on it? Yes it is. Now take a guess at which other console has something to do with windows. If you guess xbox you are correct. Why would PS3 get it first? I think the reason PC didn't get it first is because they want to make it picture perfect or something. I think I was trying to state why 360 got it over PS3

@cheeseonscungyfudge 4gb of RAM is fine for any game. I 'm guessing you have a Phenom II x6 as the only other 6-core CPU is the Intel 980X which costs a fortune and is not worth the price! The 6-core Phenom is great for the price and will run any game you throw at it... I personally think your rig will run Crysis 2 just fine ;)

@Zetzoh I could understand that excuse 3 years ago but now there is no excuse. there is some good and powerful tech in the ps3 but also alot of old tech which limits the ps3. so basically the ps3 and xbox will perform equally the same. mayb in texture the ps3 will look better but in framerate and lighting the xbox will perform better. both systems are in par with each other

@Diviniteee But even the older game required high end components from 2007 (and still ran like crap maxed out). The Xbox 360 was released in 2005 and the PS3 in 2006... I wouldn't expect the console versions to look better, but it's not just about the graphics ;)

@mrvideouploads1 That's how Crysis works I've played Crysis (from 2007) get used to the "maxximum armor" thing and when I went to play other shooters it pissed me of to die with one shot....
If you play the campain you'll get used to it and after you won't want anything else anymore...

@Nintendoguy5794 Well the reason why blu-ray won is because it holds so much more. You can put nearly 50gb of data on a dual layer disc, which means a far more in depth game. MGS4 would be a good example. Hours and hours of cutscenes on top of very deep gameplay.

The game does look pretty sick though. If it were a movie I'd see it based on the trailer. I guess movies are the same too. Same story, different twist. It's just nice to have something new to toy with. Answered my question again.

@SuckItLily Not even they are saying the new game performs twice as well is incorrect They said exactly this "It will perform twice as good as Cryengine 2 at a similar visual fidelity" Look it up if you don't believe me.
