Here After Warcury's roar haki. Yonko been downplayed a lot lately, because of the Gorosei, but this scene with Big mom's haki display shows that they are still monsters and definetly as strong or even stronger than a Gorosei member.

They lost because of plot, or I'd say, She lost because of it. Kaido's defeat was legit.
