Man, there will be no other player like Barry Sanders. It was a pleasure to witness.

At least Mandarich atoned for his roided out bust designation by having a couple really nice years in Indy in the mid '90s.

Entering the NFL Draft in 1989, if I told you that 4 of the first 5 picks would be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, you would think Tony Mandarich would be one of those players!

Barry Sanders was the best thing I ever saw in the NFL . . .

I was at that Cowboys eagles game. Tom Landry's last game. I remember him walking off the field for the last time.

You can make a dynasty out of that year’s draft.

Deion was so good, it was kind of unfair.

The '83 draft needs to be mentioned alongside '89 as the best drafts in recent memory. '83 has 8 HOF'ers (John Elway, Eric Dickerson, Jim Covert, Bruce Matthews, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Darrell Green, and Richard Dent) to the '89 draft's 5 (Troy Aikman, Barry Sanders, Derrick Thomas, Deion Sanders, and Steve Atwater).

I got to see Barry Sanders my freshman year at Kansas State run over my Wildcats.

5:00--Deion Sanders muffs the punt, almost gets tackled for negative return yards...TWICE...and STILL scores a touchdown!

Am I the only one that thinks Andre Rison, Eric Metcalf, Mark Stepnoski, or perhaps even Steve Wisniewski honestly be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

Derrick Thomas was only 7 sacks away from passing LT. If Thomas wouldn’t have died, he would have crushed LT in sacks. RIP legend

If there was anyone that broke ankles in the NFL, Barry Sanders, was the best pure runner and as a Cowboy fan, he has my respect

I remember it like yesterday. Some fans in Dallas wanted Steve Walsh at qb

If you were to watch that final Cowboys game of 1988, it would be hard to believe that they didn't purposely throw that game to get the first pick.

I'm just happy to see a Dallas Cowboys player (Troy Aikman) in the top 5 picks in NFL Draft history.
