My son is Celiac and gluten free breadstuffs are difficult and expensive to come by. Will definitely be giving these a try!! BTW, have been following your channel for a while now. Every thing you make looks so delicious. And absolutely love your energy and positivity. Cheers!

I tried these from a little stand in Boston that sold them stuffed with cheese and corn and they were so good! It was a nice blend of sweet and salty.

Love arepas. The Venezuelan dish that the Colombians try and take credit for 😂

The only Arepa flour brand available to me locally is P.A.N. Works great. What's nice about Arepas, besides the fact that you can stuff them with just about anything, is that you can make them quickly when you run out of bread or buns.

Another great recipe. I love the basic ingredients, so much better than the processed version in the grocery store. God bless you!

Nice video ❤ you did very well! Arepas are always delicious. Next time, put some butter inside of the arepa and then cheese. You will love it. In Venezuela, we make arepas with different relleno! 😊

That cheesy arepas you bit into...a tomato onion chilli mixed would complement or even home made tabasco...nice !

Hi, I love your channel and your blog. I hope you can do more Venezuelan Dishes like this one. And, one suggestion. You have to improve the Arepa Disk :D Make a ball, smach it until it gets one finger tick and then you have to slap in the base of your hands. afther you have the disk, the last move is t shape it around so it gets as a perfect circle. I know it is not easy, you can check how others do and improve it. Also, less oil in the pan since they are "arepas asadas" Hugs from a Venezuelan and very happy to see you cooked one of our golden meals. Take care and lots of success.

The first time I had these I was hooked on Colombian food. I'm on a restricted diet for now (no chilis 😢) and arepas con queso are a great snack. Can't wait until I can tolerate heat again and stuff them.

(btw your link the description goes to the wrong recipe)

You should try making Guo Kui very similar, it's a Chinese crispy flatbread which you can stuff whatever you want in it.

I'll have to see if I can find that flour locally. They look similar to Salvadoran pupusas, which are delicious.
