Are you able to clean the holder for the silicone one well at all?

Silicone brushes are terrible for cleaning especially dirt which is stuck on and can't be seen. E.g. for baby bottles they're dangerous because they leave deposits and miss a lot of residue in baby bottles that only bristles or material that allows the residue to adhere will clean. May sound good that hair etc doesn't stick to silicone but neither do residues you want to remove.. Bristles pick up that dirt instead of just skidding over it. Yes bristles are harfer to clean but that's because they pick up dirt.
