✅ Thanks so much for watching! ✌✌✌
✅ Links to more order of operations videos in the description.
✅ As far as the examples with the fraction bar, we completed the numerator in both examples in one step. If you would like to break those down into more steps, that works too (for example, for #1, 10 + 5 x 6 = 10 + 30 = 40). Do what works best for you! Just keep in mind, the fraction bar groups the top and groups the bottom. And always work through the order of operations.
✅ When it comes to problems with a fraction bar, keep in mind, the numerator can end up being less than the denominator. Problems do not always work out to be a whole number. Here is an example where the numerator ends up being less than the denominator and the final answer is a fraction: LINK COMING SOON

Order of operations does not apply with this type of problem. Division is a fraction, there is nothing of significance in your parentheses, and once the division is properly written as a fraction, you can solve immediately with no order of operations at all!
