As a proud owner of a BRZ. Yes I’m well aware that the ToyoBaru is not a fast car. But, where it lacks in straight line speed, it makes up for it in agility! Unlike the drag strip, curvy mountain roads are the ToyoBaru’s Natural Habitat.

If you want speed, you have a plethora of choices. Why ruin it for people who want affordable choices???

This video should have focused on more modern cars. You did with some like the BRX/86 twins, but a lot of the older cars mentioned were at least decent speed back in their respective time periods. I know because i was there. The Celica is one example. Back then a car with 130 or 140 hp that was lighter weight was pretty quick at the time.

In India, 150HP is considered a lot, and my man just called a 400HP car

The 300ZX TT had 300 HP stock and there is much larger aftermarket support than most people give the platform. While the VG30DETT did not get the attention like the RB or 2JZ of the time it is a very capable platform. One of the most underrated car's of the time in my opinion. In today's standard, drop some forged internals, E85, new fuel system to support and a haltec stand alone and you can get upwards of 1000 HP all day. You have to check the community it really is an awesome platform.

As of 2020, I was in the market for a new car.
My wife had her 2015 MAZDA3 Hatchback, and I loved it!
So, I did about 6 weeks of online research and a few visits to dealerships hoping to obtain an "Economy Car" like the MAZDA2...
WELL, this model was discontinued, but there was a "joint venture" between MAZDA and TOYOTA that was available as a TOYOTA YARIS!
It is sleek, looks fast, and has a beautiful interior, but only has 106hp...
Now, for me to look into adding a BLITZ SUPERCHARGER and maintain my 47mpg, I will be able to suprise any GT Mustang on the highway!!!

Most of the vehicles he's talking about came from an era when nearly everthing was slow. You can't compare them to modern 2023 cars. I own a 2021 Hyundai with a 1.6 liter turbo engine that makes 180 hp. and gets 30 mpg on the highway. A 1975 Corvette 350 cu. in. made 180 hp. and got around 15 mpg on the highway. Go back 7 years from that and there were some really fast cars.

Why would you use a 300zx? In the 90s, that was considered fast. In fact, anything vehicle over 200 hp was considered fast back then
