TES Lore: The 16 Breeds of Khajiit Explained!

Today we have a lore video on the 16 different breeds of khajiit, many of which we've never seen in an Elder Scrolls game. With the new ESO Expansion being in Elsweyr, we'll definitely see a few new ones!

Imagine a Senche raht giving birth to an alfiq. How would she raise them? An alfiq kitten compared to a fully grown Senche raht would be almost comical, she would have to be very careful

Nah the Suthay are only the ones you see in Redguard and Morrowind the cathay are the ones you see in oblivion and Skyrim and all you need to do to tell the difference between them is look at the legs and feet so the Suthay are probably the most common in Hammerfell and Morrowind while the Cathay are most common in Cyrodil and Skyrim

Nice, i really like khajiits. They have fun lore and they looks amazing, they doesnt look silly and super dumb like pandarens in wow, but they look amazing, cute yet serious and not just silly anime furries.

Cathay-raht are seen as huge 8 or 9 foot tall huge cats that Conan the Barbarian would find huge in both tallness and buff size.

If we can choose the Khajit as our character in ESE, we should be able to input our date of birth - day, month and hour (am or pm). That should influence what kind of Khajit we are born as. Maybe choosing a region of Elyswer would make it too complicated, so day/month/time should be the perfect way to get to choose a humanoid Khajit breed.

Great lore video! I love how you cover so much information in a really easy to understand way, and get so much info across in a short time span, even mentioning how certain subjects are debated. Hope we learn a lot more about the Khajiit with the Elsweyr DLC.

I have this sneaking suspicion that the lore writers didn't think this one through very well. Hear me out:
So khajiit biology is basedon the moons, not the parents. Sounds all well and good, but that has to imply a senche-raht and an alfiq can get together, and that sounds either lethal or immensely unsatisfying depending on who's on the receiving end.

Suthay-raht being the most common outside elsweyr just doesn't seem to be true given all the Khajiit in Oblivion and Skyrim are Cathay. Also, why are you saying Sunthay? I'm 100 percent certain there is no "n" in it.

Never got to play any of the Elder Scrolls games until Skyrim was ported to the Switch. That said, I've seen images of the Khajiit online, and I like the both variation of the Ohmes breed. Kind of *wish* that you could choose between the humanoid ones in at least Skyrim.
