Seeing new alien designs in Star Wars is always cool and welcomed! I think "blank:a Star Wars Movie™" with a full alien cast would be a great idea and as Alex have stated before, (I think) having Ryan Coogler directing it would be just excellent...

Vos's guards remind me of the brutes from halo 2 to halo reach. Or am I just the only one?

Dryden Vos was awesome. Unique. I like the fact of being almost human but having some type of distinct and intimidating trait that indicates part-alien. Ron Howard did a better job with Vos in just a few weeks of rewriting that character than the writers of TFA and TLJ did with Snoke in years...

On a more serious note, I really loved the creatures in Solo, it was especially exciting to see familiar aliens too like Twi'leks and the Pykes :)

I always thought that Dryden was just a victim of some disfiguring injury to his face. Didn't know that he was near human.

It’s interesting how this movie took the practical effects route on the aliens. I swear the only 2 aliens I saw that were CGI were Lady Proxima (when she emerged from the water and when the sun burned her) and Rio.
