LFP Community Housing Forum - Created for Residents, by Residents!
LFP residents, working with city staff, invite our neighbors and
community members to learn about diverse housing options, such
as accessory dwelling units (ADUs), duplexes, and community land
trusts (CLTs).
- How will new state housing laws impact our city?
- What will future housing density look like in LFP?
- How do we maintain the environmental quality of life in LFP as housing density increases?
- Maddy Larson, resident and City Planning Commissioner, will moderate.
- Mayor Tom French will share his perspectives about the city’s past and future in meeting housing needs for our community.
- Mark Phillips, former city council member, will provide housing demographics and regional comparison information.
- Mark Hofman, AICP, LFP Community Development Director, will explain new Washington State housing mandates and local efforts to comply in our city. In addition, he will tell us how to create accessory dwelling units for aging needs or for young adult starter homes.
