Love the Pre 33. My favorite for many reasons. Nice video for the beginner. Way to help the community out Louie!

Great comparison. At the 4:00 min mark. I agree on the $12.50 instead of $10 for the 1/4 oz.

some of my best auction finds have been on commemorative modern gold as the denomination is the same as the lower weighted AGE counterparts... If you know what you are looking for/at it can make a HUGE difference on both sides of the coin 😉 great info video LL!

For me I like to stick with Modern Gold. My LCS doesn't not like pre 33 that is not slabbed. Plus pre 33 market is flooded. I wouldn't buy pre 33 unless it was the same price as AGE's.. as you said the market is flat. I would have to weight pre 33 unslabbed coins to check for wear. Gold is expensive for every little bit counts lol

At least the US and China share the confusing changes to the weights and face values of their bullion coins... :) There have been single pandas, double pandas, triple pandas, and the change to 30g instead of the oz... Thanks for pointing out the differences... I mostly stay with the buffalo, if only because it is 9999.

I still think it’s nuts the pre33 are so inexpensive. I think they will be worth more some day. (Just an opinion) I think it’s a good diversification to have the pre33 when more retail gold investors/stackers/collectors come in. Perhaps

I buy alot of 1/10 th gold coins, as I can often pick them up regularly. However I noticed kinda the same thing. I really only want pure 999 gild, but some I noticed are not. It's been a learning curve but I will be the second apart from you to say yes I found it confusing. It's the same with the Britannias. This is why I don't buy gold sovereigns

As someone newer to PM's, I didn't know about the premiums that were charged in the past for pre '33 gold. Thanks for the great vid!

Fantastic LL I’ve been picking up any pre33 American Gold I can.

Thanks for this share. I’ve been turning to gold more too. As a long term investment.

Love the eagles 🦅

Especially that

GREAT INFO 👍

My favorite is the Indian head but I’m starting to like liberty heads too. I think these are going to be national treasures by are relatively cheap.
