I have been using Bitwig's multiband container for this to keep the low end in mono. Works great also allows you to add more processing to the upper harmonics.

just testing it out now, it sounds great but i'll have to train myself only to use it sparingly haha. I also just tested it on some of my mono hardware synths (moogs/korg) and it sounds great, i might reach fot this rather than a chorus (for width) now..

I used to create a FX Layer, for parallel processing and use a EQ or Filter before the OG Wider to get something into that direct. Wider 2.0 is saving me some clicks now, also this sounds much cleaner!

actually linear is less precise, precision is the whole reason for rotary mode, you move your mouse away and can adjust very precise, just like fabfilter plugins when you grab the point of the knob.

Nice one, a bit strange that you can only adjust the low bypass, why not as well the same for the high bypass? For some stuff, like the high zizzeling of Hats, I'd like it to be mono too. But then again, this is just amazing. Just dont over do it :-)

i think that' s main problem with this plugin, while widening the sounds it increase the volume, tricking your ears to perceive a better sound

Thank you for pointing that plugin out, sounds amazing.
I also wanted to reach you about the Control Room. You can put it inside an FX track so it doesn't stay on top of the project and is nicely hidden with all the other FX tracks.

In bitwig: add delay+(0ms, dry, feedback 0), to feedback add tool and click -R(or -L doesn’t matter. Add slight delay, dry wet and feedback for grit. Mono compatible stereo maker for free. Profit.
