Starlink Standard Gen 3, Ver 4 Pipe mount install. Re-use of ViaSat mount.

Starlink Gen 3, version 4, pipe mount install, shows different pipe mounts and RECALL update. So the replacement pipe mount is the same size insert, but the bolt was changed because it is a mixed-match in metals used and locks up when your over tighten it. 2/5/24

bracket to pole is w bolt looks very sketchy as you said - wind will loosen -
im making a bracket for a van that is locked in place using top rear door - to remove open door

Good vid mate, thanks. Was that the Starlink pipe adaptor? Agree that I also dont like that shallow socket. Anybody in NZ there is a crowd in Chch or somewhere down there, name like Digital store $100 shipped to rural Northland. Havent got it in my hands yet but looks more substantial.

Use the right pipe size dude. No wonder you're losing the antenna when the wind blows!!! 2" hole...2" Pipe!!! Or Drill a small hole in the pipe and screw through it!!!

What is the difference between the two pole mounts? It appears just a fraction of depth. Not sufficient enoung if you as me. Is this what everyone else is seeing?
