Find refrigerant leak using dry nitrogen

Using dry nitrogen instead of wasting your time and materials using refrigerant to find a leak.
Sometimes leaks only happen at higher pressures that you cannot obtain using refrigerant because whatever the temperature of the vehicle is will roughly be how many psi you’re limited to test at. sometimes leaks only happen at higher pressures that you cannot obtain using refrigerant because whatever the temperature of the vehicle is will roughly be how many psi you’re limited to test at. Nitrogen is not affected by temperature resulting in a little pressure with a low temperature like refrigerant is so you can easily turn it up to 150 psi and find those more stubborn leaks that only leak at high-pressure.

how many psi are released into the nitrogen system and is it released on the intake side or on the high side? Goodbye and thanks

Is there any reason you pressure test with 150 psi and not something like 250-300 psi? Lots of systems experience 200 psi on high sides so wouldn't 150psi not even simulate actual operating pressures. Wouldn't testing at a higher PSI find some more leaks that would only occur under higher pressure? Thanks!

Hello, do you add the nitrogen thru the high side or low side?

very good video. Best way to find leaks. What digital manifold gauge are you using and how good is it?

Where could we (DIYers) get affordable dry nitrogen please? Thanks

I have a question,
Where can I buy that blue small hose that connects your gauges to the yellow hose coming from the ac manifolds?
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos!
