How to get UHD 4K 144 Hz on your TCL TV?

Tips to get Ultra HD 2160p resolution with 144 Hz refresh rate on your TCL TV. Tested on C745 and C805 models.

I might be very late but this is how you can enable it. Make sure your tv is updated to the latest version, because there is a TCL c735 and other model updates released recently.

1- make sure you enable game mode on game picture mode.

2- then go to nvidia control panel/setup g-sync

1- "enable for windowed and full screen mode"

2- "select your monitor"

3- "enable settings for the selected display model".

Then basically click on "apply"



After that it should be enabled.
Then go to display settings in windows settings/advanced display/ choose refresh rate to 144Hz

Both ALLM and VRR will be enabled too.

I have the tcl 841k/845k same thing, use it for xbox series x and ps5 and with vrr 120hz some games have very bad image flickering, and ghosting effects all over the screen, im not the only one it seems, Im using proper hdmi cables on the correct ports and I've updated to the latest firmware update and nothing works, I have the X8 model = X2

What about TCL C735 and 144Hz? In windows options only show 120Hz at 4K

I have a PS5 and when I turn on the 120hz with my c845, the image quality drops a lot. Even the resolution seems to be lower. It is not a problem with my PS5 or cable, because I've tested with another TV (oled). It seems to be a problem specifically with my tv. Anyone else have this same issue?
