From what I saw/heard the recipe is
3 cups water boiled
3 tablespoons agar powder
5 whole cups of sugar
Let set for 2 hours and then wait for it to dry for 1-2 weeks.
I'm not completely sure so tell me if I'm wrong 😅

Malaysia have these for decades. Its served during Hari Raya and Christmas in my hometown. Its called agar agar kering. Means dried jelly. Usually 2 inches zig zag shape. Cut and dry them in the sun for few days.
