Beautiful mare. Horses can be very territorial and aggressive, a lot of people don't understand that. Anyhow, very cool, just remember, heels down! ;)

Being a rider and trainer I have to say that riders should never wear spurs unless they have a perfect control of their legs and feet on a moving horse.

Congratulations on 2 million viewers! I am sure you have heard Dalmatian have an affinity for working with horses. In the past they were Fire Service stable dogs.
Thanks for a great video!

You should have had Keith explain why he got a quarter horse and what a quarter horse is.

Lol, I have a working line gsd about 2 years old. She has definate herding instincts. Training her herding has not been a priority, but today, we worked on it some. She started out great, but as she got wound up, no treat in the world was going to work. I had to physically step in and stop her. (I had dropped the e collar remote trying to get a hold of a goat.) As for horses and training them with treats that remind me of the old cartoons with someone riding holding a stick with a carrot dangling in front of the horse! Having trained a couple of horses, I can just picture me trying to lure a horse with treats! I can not even move fast enuf to keep up with their long legs! I did use treats to train the horses to come when called, but luring, that's hilarious!!!!😂

Quarter Horses and Corso's my personal favorite kind of Horse and Dog ❤

I have trained a couple horses using the same method. Why is it I feel so unconfident training my working line German Shepherd? I purchased all your courses, and am applying all concepts. The dog just feels a little scarier.

Harnesses encourage pulling. Why else would we use them on livestock? They have very specific places in the canine world which should be limited to sent training and seatbelting in cars

How long do you lunge (stretch/relax/exercise) your horses before you ride?

If you shorten your rein to canter it will improve your steering. :)

One of the worst positive only trainers on YouTube is that Victoria from "It's Me or the Dog".Oh my God, she is horrible! All about treats and harnesses. She once told a person who couldn't walk her Saint Bernard that using two leashes instead of one with a harness was the best way to walk it! 😂

Please don't treat train a horse, one big difference between horse and dog training.

Just like with the prong collthere's different types of bits - snaffle, d-ring or curb, etc., that help to control the horse depending on its nature and the type of "mouth" it has.

So I am guessing whomever had this horse before focused more on one side than the other.
