It takes a fair amount of training to be even a reasonably proficient knife thrower.
When all you have left is a knife and your client is leveling down on you from ten yards away with a 12 Gauge—it may be time to buy a lottery ticket and throw your knife.
It probably won't be a "Throwing Knife". I mean if you think that you might run out of ammo, it's just as easy to carry an extra 1911A1 magazine and have 7 or 8 extra rounds.
Even if your knife sticks—a single stab with a knife isn't anywhere near a 100% manstopper.
If you're enamored of throwing things, get some quarter inch diameter rods, cut them about 9" long and sharpen them to a point on both ends. You can also use Square Stock.
This is what the Japanese call "Shuriken". {Those Stars are more properly called "Shaken".}
The Shuriken will be cheaper and you can carry more per pound—but they still aren't Bang-up Weapons.

Hello. I always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you. Could you tell me about the axe you use in 1 minute 44 seconds? It looks like a Francisca. Recently, I have been obsessed with throwing axes, and I think the Pransiska in particular has a great attraction. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me which product it is.
