Nope... won't work for obvious reasons.

"1 generator produces enough energy for 15, 000 homes" ... really?

the rotor will always be in an vertical angle to the wind. Normally this comes at a cost of efficiency. Two bladed rotors are not new. Decades of testing have shown 3 bladed as the sweet spot between different trade-offs.
But: This concept seems to be very easy and cost effective to errect and maintain. also this even under difficult conditions. the only problem will be storms if their blades are crashing on the water when in rotation they will be damaged. those turbines need really good breaks and you can't do that without pivoting the blades which can't be done with a one pice rotor. My opinion: the the concept is not bad but the text of the video is wrong. it has potential to be a niche product with a small share of a huge market.

Companies never clean their mess after getting the money. Electronics, plastics and metals end up deep in the ocean when nobody needs this machines any longer. Technology changes quick these days ❤

I expect to see this on the Undecided YouTube channel in the next week ...a channel that comments and collects info on impractical and vaporware projects

The way this handles high winds has several advantages. It has a built in dampener that makes two blades feasible. Two blades are less expensive than three. It automatically moves the blades further from the higher waves during stronger winds. This allows a shorter less expensive support structure. The change in the angle of the entire system allows simpler cheaper fixed angle blades. The fact that the trailing wind is directed downward means better wind for down wind turbines. This means they can be packed closer together and use less ocean surface area and less connecting cable.

I hate when they tickle a story but don't complete it.

Yeah, but what about connecting each one?

200 m Long. Really. I used to work on top of 100 m high chimney stacks. That was high. 200 m seems excessive. How many low flying birds are you going to kill.

Hmm,
Just some helicopter blades, so why this is efficient,
Even MIT fialed when they released there omni blade.

All the billions of research to date, wasted. But this backyard pair of, good ol boy's, effort is showing the holes in their millions of hours with super computers and AI, wasted. Where do I invest? I think it is a two blade rotor. And maybe, the outcome is unknown.
