I love how him and Joey never changed their look. They always looked the same even after the band broke up

He and Kirk Hammett exchanged pancake recipes. I'm not kidding! They became great friends.

There has been many imitators, but there is only one Ramones for sure. Their music is so simple but it’s so great, never went out of style been listening to them since I first heard them in a video game as a kid in the 90s.

Yeah, I have to agree with the fella who said there will never be another band like the Ramones!!! And this guitar player Johnny Ramone was so "BADASS"!!! As I have said before, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to see the Ramones live at either one of the Lalapaloza shows I was attending, or maybe one of the X- Fest shows which was shows set up by a local alternative rock radio stations from Indianapolis Indiana, but which ever, me and one of my best friends who went to many, many all day rock festivals together quite a bit back during the late 80's, but mostly during the 90's got to see these guys shortly before they started passing away, and I can't remember the exact time frame, doesn't matter, because the main point is that we actually got to see them live, and my best memory of it was watching Johnny play with so much damn energy, and what a showman he was!!! But as a whole, the experience of seeing the Ramones just not long before it all came to an end is something I'll cherish forever!!! Ernie Wilber 🤘👹🤘✌️

One of the most underrated band in the history of music... They are finally getting the recognition they deserve.

I used to live in Studio City, California. I met Johnny Ramone on Ventura Blvd right in front of the Book Star book store. He told me he lived nearby. We talked for about 10 minutes, maybe less. He was the nicest guy. He asked me what I was doing and I told him I was going into the book store to apply for a job. When we said goodbye, he said " I hope you get the job". He was cool. I didn't get the job😔

Most people don’t know that Jonny Ramone was a hard core conservative. That’s why he was allowed to handle all their investments. 🤘🏼 Jonny!!

A lot of Music Greats have died at such young ages! It's sad to hear he had passed so young 😢 RIP Johnny✨

"When you leave that funeral, that drive is as important as any single stretch of road you'll travel on. You've got a renewed appreciation for life. And I think that feeling can last through the day, through the week, but then things start getting back to normal and you start taking this living and breathing and eating thing for granted. I think that song ['Life Wasted'] is there to remind you, 'This is that feeling'...

*The truth is—I'm a little sensitive and this is a close, personal relationship. I'll just say it. F- it. Right up front. Half the record [Pearl Jam's 2006 album] is based on the loss of the guy who turned out to be the best friend I ever had on the planet. And that was Johnny Ramone."* (Eddie Vedder's interview for "Rolling Stone", June 16, 2006)

He was very patriotic. His momument shows this. I believe the album, "Too Tough To Die" was from that incident.

I partied with the Ramones at Exit Inn in Nashville. We went waiting in line for an autograph, we let everyone else in go first so we would be last. When we were at the dressing room behind the venue, we asked them if they smoked pot, they did and invited us in. They had a collapsible bong and we got them high while they gave us beer. It was the best concert ever! We even got on stage with them during the show!
My next favorite concert was seeing U-2 when they first came out, they played everything they knew. "Boy" and "October".😊

I saw the Ramones in 77- they were absolutely electric! I had front row seats in the Club and I remember them spewing spit on the audience. They weren’t really spitting at us- they were spitting and we happened to be in the way🤷🏻‍♂️
