For people who still face the error after doing this :
1st/ You need jdk 17, not jre 1.8 (must be placed in Program Files- Java)
2nd/ You must install the opengl32.dll and put it in the jdk bin
3rd/ Change the Java path either in TLauncher or Premium to the jdk path
4th/ Launch mc 1.18, it must work now

I tried this and it worked for me, so I just decided to tell you about it

find bin there and paste opengl.32 there
it will got fixed for sure

mine keeps saying it, i´ve used jre 1.8, jdk 16, jdk 17, and none work. have updated the opengl driver, have put it in the system32 and sysWOW32 folders, inside the java folders too. changed the config in tlauncher to look for the java folder, even looked up the minimum version of opengl needed and confirmed i had it and it still doesn´t work :/ help?
