The tools offered by Power Query Editor are enough to solve most problems related to Data importation and transformation (ETL). However, some business cases present challenges that are solved faster and better if we are able to make slight amendments to the M Code that Power Query generates for us through the buttons we click in the user interface. We will look at some practical examples of very helpful M code snippets in Power Query in Excel.

Wow, that was great. Subscribed.
I have been using PQ on Excel and gotten into customise the M code. This video was helpful and learnt a few new things, like that editor zoom with Ctrl, Shift+, magical Navigation step, etc.
Thank you.

Many thanks, Celia,

In the 2nd EXP, *Date. Month(DateTime.LocalNow())* work properly without *DateTime.Date()*

Celia. this was a GREAT video. Specially the first transformation example you did by referencing a row and a column from a cell. Thanks. Do you have more powerquery videos that i can watch ? Again, great content.
