Born and raised in LA but have been living in San Francisco for 10+ years. Asian food is better in LA, but as a whole, the bay area is way more relaxed and chill.

NORCAL has the Original Chinatown, the GOLD RUSH, thats where Chinese came in "ANGEL ISLAND" Norcal has the asian roots, history, the real Chinatown, LA / So Cal is more recent immigrants, more Manadarin, NORCAL has more South China / CANTO / HONG KONG Chinese

i can safely say that most of NorCal asian teens want to move to SoCal for college. everyone's so hyped to go to SoCal, no one wants to stay here unless they get into UC Berkeley.

San Francisco areas have the best views and the cleanest air in the world. Try to beat views of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco skyline, the San Francisco Fog coming in and out of the Golden Gate Bridge and over the hills combined with the tides coming in and out every 6 hours. Nobody can beat that. If you want hot weather, head inland. If you want cool weather, head to the ocean.

I do agree there is way more Koreans in SoCal but there is a good amount of Koreans in the Bay like the SJ and Pleasanton area.
