With a true leader (Mandela), they fought for freedom, and when it was achieved. The interracial violence stopped. That they have
taken up the struggle for Palestinians at the ICJ is inspirational.

The politics is garbage, stopping the genicide is the prescient need.

robert is wrong saying that druz are the only non-jews serving in the israeli military. the israeli military includes druz, muslims and arab christians. in fact muslim idf soldiers are currently fighting in gaza together with jewish soldiers against hamas. Yosef Hadad is a famous israeli arab christian who served in the idf and was a commander of jewish soldiers and fought in the 2nd lebanon war, and is today advocating for israel around the world.

It doesn’t share a border with Israel and is effectively in the other side of the Middle East, there shouldn’t be a realistic reason and yet…
