Greeks, Italians, Spaniards, Southern Frenchmen, and Portuguese are quite identical (culturally, food-wise, behavior, and looks).

My mother and father were both born outside of Naples in 1934. Came to NY rather young and I was born in NY in the early sixties. So now in my early sixties I took a DNA test a couple years ago and I found out that I’m about 25% Greek and Aegean islands ancestry and about 2% Turkish. Weird to find out this after being 60 years old. But I’m proud of being part Greek even though it’s probably a long time that my family has lived there. But from now on when anyone asks. I’m 25% Greek.

I'm Italian (i.e. from Italy, not America) but I have some bond with Greece cause my maternal grandparents were born in Patras, Greece. It's nice to see how these two cultures have so much in common, I can tell that by the way my grandparents lived when they relocated in Italy after WW2: they were actually Italian Greeks of Apulian ancestry, their families had left Italy at the end of the 19th century during the Italian diaspora but were expatriated back to Italy in the mid 40's after the war (I guess bacause of the campaign of Greece few years before). Patras had an Italian Greek community back then but most of those people came back to Italy just like my grandparents, they were recognized as refugees if I'm not mistaken. Some relocated to cities like Florence and Turin (where I'm from), they used to speak both Greek and Italian. I have some great memories of my grandparents.. Thanks for the video!

I'm from Italy and I can say that an Italian complaining about someone being late is unimaginable.

The Greeks were ahead of their time with democracy. Since then we felt we deserved to take our sweet time.

23 minutes late, but looking incredible in a “this old thing? Please this was in the back of my closet” kind of way - that somehow STILL looks better than whatever I would come up with, if I had a week to plan an outfit. 🤌🤌

She's actually a good actress but if she's not an actress she needs to consider it
