Thanks for the remote programming tip....Had this unit for 2 years now, and the remote never "talked" to the receiver very well at all.
And the programming was never in the manual.
Cheers.

There is a sleep mode. Try that to lower the noise.

If you would have bought the more expensive system you wouldn't have to drain it one time I've had it for 2 years never had a drain at once so it's worth the extra money big time💯

I asked a question I bought it 3 days ago. The first day seemed to go well. But today I have doubts that I am still working. The machine is cold. The air can come out for no more than 20 minutes. Then another 15 minutes later. The machine turns off by itself like a timer. but i didn't set it Do you know what's the problem with it?

The $100 more is for 100 sq ft more, basically an extra small room since its 12, 000 BTU instead of 8, 000. So its like having the WIFI Control Free, which is also nice since you dont have to keep track of an extra device as a remote since your cell phone is next to you anyway

Had it for a year and found out there’s a THIRD filter. You have to remove the bottom filter and it’s on the side, there will be holes on the left side of it, it’s behind it. Oh my the amount of dust on it from never being checked

Oh man I thought this was the video I was looking for but you literally left out the part I needed! It says you only need a screwdriver for the sliders yet there are no pre drilled holes apart from one panel. I wanted to see you set up the panels. And also sucks because I don’t have a drill. But apart from that this is still a great video, I gave it a like

I hate to be the one that tells you, BUT, you installed the the sliding window panels inside out. The nicer side should be on the inside of the window, not like you have it at 4:38.

Thank you for the information. I ran the device all night long (first time) and I just put the tube in the upper valve and it's a constant trickle. Is that simply because of high humidity? Thank you again.

Do you have to keep the hose in or just change water once a day?

I just bought this and set it up, but even though I put it to "cool" and the fan setting on "high" it's not cold at all the temperature only the room has not changed.

From what I understood the toshiba ac are really rebranded media air conditioners. I just purchased the big one 14000 btu, with dual vent hoses and wifi. I went with media version because it comes in black.
