Boondi Ladoo Recipe | Easy Perfect Boondi Laddu – Indian Sweet {how to make Boondi Laddu}
Hey Foodies!!
Today I will show you “How to cook Boondi Ka Ladoo”
Boondi ladoo a traditional Indian dish. A sweet we all have been enjoying since our childhood days. Whether you are from the southern part of India, or the north. It is the most important or we can say a mandatory sweet on various auspicious occasions like- Child birth, Marriage, Diwali, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi and many other festivals and ceremonies.

Ingredients
For Boondi batter:
Chickpea flour/Besan – 1 cups
Water- 1cup
Green Color- a pinch
Yellow Color- a pinch
For sugar Syrup:
Sugar - 1 ½ Cup
Water – 1Cup
Yellow Color- a pinch
Green Cardamoms – 4 to 5
Muskmelon seeds - 2 tbs
Ghee – 2tbs
Oil for Frying
How to make Boondi Ladoo:
1. For batter, Take chickpea flour. Add small portion of water and dissolve the lumps. Add water to the batter and make it slurry. Keep its consistency same as pakora batter.
2. Whisk the batter for 4 to 5 minutes. Keep the batter aside for 10 minutes.
3. For sugar syrup, take sugar, add water. Cook until sugar dissolves in water. Stir at regular intervals. Cook for 5 minutes then check it. One string sugar syrup is required.
4. Put the Oil to heat. Whisk batter for 2 to 3 minutes. Batter should be smooth and of pouring consistency. Pour the batter on strainer(Laddle) and continuously tab the strainer. Medium high hot oil is needed to fry the boondis.
5. Keep Boondi in a sieve, make all boondi likewise. Once ready, slightly heat the sugar syrup if it seems bit cool, then turn off flame.
6. Put boondi in it. Add cardamoms coarsely ground, muskmelon seeds and Ghee. Give it a good mix. Cover and keep for 30 minutes. Check the boondi if it has absorbed the syrup. Mix well once again.
7. To bind ladoos grease palm with ghee. Keep mix on your palm and bind them, Bind all the ladoos likewise. Yummy boondi ladoos are ready.
