100 % right.. i think hybrid amps are much better than tube amps (only the randalls in my opinion) i think randall makes great amps but they are sou underrated because they don't make ONLY tube amps ... very sad thing (i play a randall too)

I have an opportunity to pick up a regular T2 for $200 Is this a good deal? The amp certainly sounds good, but I don't know how it would sound for more heavily downtuned stuff.

oh ok. That was just my opinion i tested a lot of amps but the randall was the best for me.

Can I drive my T2 at 4 Ohms 400W with a ST 412 XLT cabinet, which only has 240W? Will I damage my speakers?

your guitar sounds out of tune, maybe you're hitting the strings too hard?
