I have several versions of office all the way back to 97, is there a way to copy a directory that would contain the styles listed from an earlier version. I do have 2013 and 2017 as well. I am using 365 now and it does not have the fancy style nor many of the other ones you mentioned.

good content, what i found missing is at the end of the video you should have showed opening word program again, selecting the just created template, and like keeping title things. It would have made user clear that how template works. Thank you.

Hi there. Thank you so much for showing it to us in such a clear and understandable way. I have had the problem that when I inserted the quick parts, it would not allow me to click out of it and when it finally did, the cursor would be above the inserted field. I tried it several times and the same thing happens over and over again. When I use the arrow key to go below it, it gives me the big spacing. Any insight in what I may be doing wrong?
All I am trying to achieve is a letter template with our name, address, phone number and email address, the receivers name and address and the date. Then the dear and then the text which will stay the same. I just need to be able to change the receivers name and address and the name when greeting. Would appreciate your help. Many thanks

I like to ask you a question. My question is. Can I make a template, with only the printed text I type on the template and not have the back ground print out? Let me explain more what I am asking. When you open word the default page is a white page, you can start typing text. What I am trying to create, if at all possible is a template of a scroll paper as a template with the color background, and where you can see the top and bottom of the page rolled up like scroll paper. I want to see the picture of the scroll paper as I type on the template, but when I send the document to the printer, I do not what the background of the template to print out, only the text. The reason I do not want the color background of the template to print out is, when I print the document I have the actual scroll paper and I will load that in the printer to print out on the scroll paper I load in the printer. Is such a template possible or am I asking to much?

This is a well-done video. Unfortunately, it doesn't apply to Word for Mac since there is no "Quick Parts" button on the Insert tab. It would be really helpful to know how to create an editable field with Word for Mac.

Insufferably slow and clumsy. Get on with it. Hard to follow because it's so clumsy.
