Jason, I have to say that you knocked it out of the park with this one. I was stuck on C major for the longest time and recently moved to G major and loved the tones, but I have grown bored of the progression in this key as well. Now I have 15 more awesome progressions to learn! You are amazing at what you do and you have the most effective video tools of any teacher on YouTube. You show the keys being played, you show the notes in the scale, you have the chords/notes shown in real time as you are playing, you play real world-popular songs to relate the structures to and your handwritten notes show clearly what is going on. Thank you so much!

2-5-1 chord progressions are so satisfying both in minor and major. You did a very good job at explaining, thank you.

I love how your describe with intervals helps so much to understand tension and resolution and why certain progressions works the way they do

Excellent stuff. Using the "numbers system" makes some puzzling things make sense. One thing that helped me a long time ago to figure out the different key signatures was that the major scale has a half step between 3 and 4 and 7 and 8. Once you figure that simple thing out, the scales will make a LOT more sense. Good job. Once you get the numbers, it doesn't matter what key the song is in. 1-4-5 verse with a 2-5 chorus and a 1-2-4-5 bridge can be played in in ANY key. Keep up the good work. Great to see someone emphasizing numbers.
