How can such an old sim put to shame one of the most recent games, that is literally focused in f1, just by adding a single f1 car. iracing is amazing, and the f1 games should be better.

I played them both, iRacing is miles ahead of F1 2021, no contest.

I love the way people in the comments are comparing a Racing SIMULATOR, to a game that was designed to be played by casuals in a controller.

iRacing still rules tho.

The sound of F1 2021 is rly great but sounds more like an outside camera angle sound compared to iracing where the sound is closer to what the driver would hear inside the cockpit in my opinion

It’s so weird to me. I’d usually think the more arcade game would be easier to drive, but I find iRacing much easier to get around the track

Seeing a side by side comparison, without anything else involved, shows the different in graphics/colours used by game devs - very nice!

F1 while driving, I Racing replay and I Racing sound. Although both look and sound good.

Excellent comparison video Rich, audio is noticeably different, F1 has always sounded so clunky on the downshift and has what sounds like white noise over it... Never had the chance to play Iracing but think that will change soon lol

Two things jump out and that’s the lower driving position in iRacing and the odd mist effect in F1 2021

Excellent video, Rich! I think we all know that iRacing is going to be a lot more loaded, but it’s testament to how good F1 2021 that we even need these comparisons! :)
